Are these things worth anything? They look like they would help with tight spaces. [This message has been edited by 65_289 (edited 12-16-2002).]

Every racer I know that has tried any muffler insert has lost significant ET. (over 2 tenths in the 1/8)

Wow. Noodles, huh? I like spaghetti. I guess just because a product looks innovative doens't mean it works worth a flip!

The guy I bought my Falcon from ran inserts, fairly small ones, and lost a tenth in the eighth. They cut maybe a third of the noise. He ran them cause he was running Super Street at NHRA events once in a while. As I understand, the muffler rule hasn't been enforced much so he took them out. I have them and may try them to slow down a bit.------------------ 63 Falcon 377 Cleveland stroker Flying Toilet alchohol injection. 6.19 @ 110 MPH 1/8 mile 2002 Ranger FX4 daily driver 2000 F350 PSD Crew cab dually - Like commuting in a B52!! 98 US Cargo Phantom II 28'

KK's brother tried muffler inserts on his comet, and it slowed it down almost 2 tenths in the 1/8.
