Are kits still available for these carbs? Is a clean looking one worth getting?

I like those carbs. Holley still offers kits for them. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Holleys version of the Ford 4100, that tells you something about Ford carbs, they new what they were doing. Its a shame they never really caught on. I guess they don't have the Macho glamor of a 4150. As Alex said, trick kits are available.Mike

In 1989 the Autolite engineer that helped design the 4100 went to work for Holley. The 4010 series was his brain child. Easy and cheap to build, simple to service and performed very well. It just didn't have the sex apeal as Mike says. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
