I have a mild 302 in my 70 stang. Here is my set up is. It is a 302 with a performer intake, 600 holley, and a pertronix ignitor 2 with matched coil. Also have large cap conversion kit on it and frpp 9mm wires. It is cammed, but I don't know how big. It is a little lumpy at 800 rpm, and doesn't really have any power until 2,000 rpm. I am currently building a different carb for it. I started with a 1850 vs carb, put center hung float bowls on it with the quick change jet feature, and decided to put the trick secondary metering plate in it where you can jet it. I will be installing headers over the winter. I will also be changing from a 3-speed toploader to a 4-speed toploader, and changing out my 8 inch rear with 2.79 for a 9 inch traction-lok with 3.25 gears. I have size 69 jets in the primary side. What should I start with to jet the secondary side? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Brandon.

Start about 6 larger than the primary side, assuming it is right. Read your plugs and go from there. SteveW
