Just got my Proform carb body in. It looks nice and shiney. The rest of my old card looks pretty crappy now. Is there a certain type of paint I can use to paint the fuel bowls that will stick? ------------------ Rick Austin 64 Pro-Street Falcon 351C 4V 8.1s in 1/8 79 Ford Bronco 4 X 4 400 9.9s in 1/8 2000 F-150 XLT 5.4L

I think the Eastwood paint sucks and I say that even though M&M would get a kickback if you ordered it through our link.I wonder if PonyCarbs would retint your parts for a fee? Their stuff looks nice. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Be sure to remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, and Osborn Reproductions.

Pony's replating prices are OUT OF $IGHT! Jon has to out source most of the plating and it costs him plenty to get the quality he demands. Like I said, the Eastwood stuff is just o k a y. (I didn't say that it was great) ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." All the plating is gone from mine. I can't scrub em anymore. I guess I'll try the Eastwood method first. If that does not work well enough. Can I buy new bowls from holley? Do they sell em that way?Rick
