Just a little heads up for you guys using the ARP engine accessory bolt sets. I bought a set for a 351W that is going in a customer's 53 Ford. I was assembling the front of the motor last night, and was missing some of the bolts. All of the ones that I had were the right size, but I had only half of the necessary bolts to secure the timing cover and the water pump to the block (14 total) So, I made a quick note of what sizes were missing, and gave ARP a ring on their 1-800 # that was on the "Ford engines may require additional fasteners...." sheet that was in the box. I was connected to a service rep named Rob, who was reasonably courteous and took down my shipping info, bolt sizes and quantities. He then said that they would be shipped out on Monday no charge. No "where did you purchase" or game of twenty questions. Needless to say, I was impressed, and very pleased with their service. Just figured I'd post this here as I've seen posts by people who complained about their ARP kits. Guess if they'd called and talked to Rob, they would be as happy as me.

Sounds like Rob was nicer than the guy I spoke with. When I called they told me to send the bolts that were the wrong size and only then would they send me the correct sizes. The guy I spoke to made me feel like I was trying to steal bolts or something. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Be sure to remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, and Osborn Reproductions.
