Does anyone know for sure what the spring seat size is on a set of 1970 Windsor heads? I think its is 1.4400....but I am not sure? Will a 1.4600 K-Motion 800 series spring fit without having to cut the seats? Thanks for any help..... Mike

Thanks for the info Alex. Is K-Motion a good choice in a spring? I am going from a Comp 305H to a Comp 306S and I have not heard good stories on the Comp springs. K-Motion seems to be a widely used company, so I was going to try them. Whats your opinoin? Thanks Mike

Never had any good luck with K-Motion personally. Both Mark Tallent and I have broken near new K-Motion springs. Manley, Sig Erson, or Comp are my preferances in that order. Do you have long valves? If so I would much rather see you with some Comp 999's than K-Motion. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." A lot of my race buddies who used to use K Motions have also switched to something else. They were breaking them with great regularity.
