if any of you run a moroso electric water pump drive this might help. if your electric motor burns out, just go to your local parts store and get a heater blower motor for a 1966 - 1973 mustang without a/c. identical motor and about 1/2 price than the same one from a speed shop with moroso stamped on it.

Yup, I found out many years ago that the Moroso WP motor was a Ford heater fan motor, while changing the fan motor in my 74 F350. Looked at the old motor, and thought, Hmmmm... that looks familiar! So when I had a water pump motor go south on me , I got a new fan motor for a 74 Ford truck. The wires are even the same color! I have over the years used fan motors from a 57 Ford, 78 Fairmont, & the truck, they may be slightly different in some small visual way, but they all fit, & worked just fine. I suppose Ford never felt the need to redesign their fan motors very often! :

------------------
78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph
80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph
85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed
59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto
74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd
