I'm looking for a solution to pounded out bushings on my front coil spring saddles on a '71 D/SA Mustang. I have tried rubber stock replacement and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. The rubber ones get beat to death and the polyurethane creaks and moans like a haunted house in the movies.

I thought I remember something about a solid bronze replacement bushing with a grease zerk, but I have not seen it in any catalogs. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Bill Harris

I saw in mustang and Ford mag. A company called American Pony 1-866-717-7711. The bushings they sell are called Midolyn it is supposed to be as durable as poly but a hardness in between rubber and poly. The best thing they say is they are not supposed to squeak.
I have no experience with the bushings or the company. so you decide .

Bronze with a grease fitting is the only way to fly. Especially on a nose heavy 429 car. I used to replace my perches on MM every year and sometimes twice a year. Now, I just grease them once a month and they stay solid and loose as a goose.
