Looking for opinions on aluminum flywheels. I have heard they help by decreasing rotating mass but hurt in drag racing as extra weight on flywheel helps launch. Doing some work on my 428 and the flywheel question came up as a way to free up some horsepower.

It will rev up much faster, but will lose rpms more during shifts, both due to loss of rotating mass inertia.
