The Falcon I recently bought has an interesting system for warming up the motor.

There is a cell in the trunk that has a small electric fuel pump and line to the front of the car which is basically steel brake line. This is attached to a small adjustable regulator and run to a piece of tubing in a spacer under the toilet. There is a hole pointed toward the manifold in the middle of the tube that gas squirts out of when the pump is on. Anyone familiar with model airplane motors knows this as a spraybar.

The belt driven alky pump can be turned off and the electric gas pump can be turned on while at a high idle. This warms up the motor much faster and can be used to prime with gas for start-up.

If anyone is interested in the details on this, let me know. It really works slick.

I ve seen this done with a EFI fuel injector robbed off a late model car, a Jr. dragster fuel cell and a holley RED pump. the guy drilled a hole in the back of his manifold at about the point where a PCV port would be. The injector was connected to the same hot wire as the pump. He was really happy with the results. I should probably do something like this on my HAT. It's usually such hot weather here though. One day maybe.
I'd still like the details of your set-up it may work better on a tunnel ram.

The guy that I bought my toilet from sells that exact system. James Monroe @ Monroe Sales and Service in Bloomington, IN.

He is *the* guru on the toilet system. He sells what you describe as his "Primer Plus". He told me the sytem can be used for priming, warming the engine and driving in the pits.

I'll have to ask the builder of my car if thats what he bought or came up with this deal on his own. I have seen the same regulator on a couple of other cars used for the same purpose.

I also run the car on gas for a few minutes at the end of the day to get it good and warm before loading it. Helps get rid on the moisture in the oil.

I've noticed differences between my alky injection and KVs alky carb. motor. His uses alot less alky, and is easier to warm up. I imagine those things are related. Even in relatively warm weather, the injected motor doesn't get very warm. The radiator fan will never wear out at least, cause it never gets run.

Anyway, this gas system works really well.
