Hi all, I need to do something to get a little better stopping power. My power brakes with a large cam(246/[email protected]) aren't too hot. Would installing a vaccuum canister help with this? Looking around my engine bay, there isn't much room for one? Where did you put yours? Did it help any? Would it be better to swap to manual brakes? What is involved in doing this? Sorry for all the questions, but wanting to make my car better over the winter. The sooner I get started, the better. You can install a cannister in front of the radiator core support. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Thanks, AlexI took another look over lunch, and there is enough room there to put it in(I have a crane can). I wasn't sure there would be enough room, what with the fan mounted as a pusher and all these headlight doors and such. Now to go get some hose to make it work. Tom
