Can someone explain the differences in these type valve springs?

H-11 Tool Steel
Pacaloy

This is an interesting website I found recently. Tell you all about the characteristics of different metals, plastics etc.

And the difference between cast iron and steel is the percentage of carbon. Steel has less than a couple percent carbon.
