I'm having my valve springs pressure checked this week. If they don't meausre up I'll need some new ones.

I have heard good things about the Isky Tool Room gold stripe series and PSI gold stripe (possibly the same spring). Very pricey, but supposed to be very good.

Others? Opinions? Need dual springs 1.625" diameter. 240 lbs @ 1.900" ~700 lbs @ 1.150".

Thanks,
David Cole

David, I like K-Motion's stuff. I get more passes out of their springs. Take a look at the K-1000 on this web site. is that close? K-Motion

PSI makes Isky's springs for them. The PSI's are very good. A lot of the guys I used to race with starting switching to the PSI's after their K motions started failing (breaking) with regularity.

I have two friends that run BBF's that broke K-Motion springs and both were right at 25 1/4 mile passes.

New kid on the block. ERSON!

I have used the Pacoloy Manley BGN springs for the last two years with phenominal results. Expensive, but well worth the money.
At Norwalk this past August I broke a spring and bent a valve. We looked for our spares only to realize that we did not have the correct ones with us. (switched from 1.588 to 1.610 diameter and didn't pack the new spares).
We scoured the pits and manufacturers midway for Manley and could only come up with the the GM. He had no parts.
Comp and Crane had some product that was sort of close as a last resort.
Out of sheer desparation we hit the Mr. Gasket trailer to see if they had a close Erson product. Low and behold, the had the EXACT SAME spring! Even the part number suffix was the same as the Manley.
Best part was the price. 40% less than Manley for the same product. They both buy and package the same high quality springs.
Erson has a racer direct program and phone number. 775-882-1622 ex 359 or 327
