What year is the best.Should it be Stick or Auto? Carb or Fuel injection? Lets hear some opinions. Maybe a Fox Stocker in the future. Hans ------------------

Now is not a good time to make that move just yet Hanns. I would wait a few days and see what NHRA has up their sleeve as far as indexes and weight breaks. The way I see it, with the new FI classes, the FoMoCo's are going to get screwed big time. So bad that I may quit altogether and go NMRA racing Hanns. The Fox carbureted cars are all bad combinations. HP needs to be reduced about 15 for them to be competitive at all. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." I'd think an 83-85 Mustang would make a decent SS car... enough carb anyways.

Nope Tomp, heads suck and NHRA only allowed them 140 cc's on the intake last year when they certified them. Larry Puff has one that runs SS/L with pretty good stuff and it only runs .010 or so under. Kenny Mehle also built one and it has not worked out very well so far either. He is going 289. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
