While taking the tailshaft from a Borg Warner T5 in a 91 Mustang I inadvertently tapped the roll pin down into the detent plate without first placing the lever in the 3-4 neutral position. Now the roll pin is stopped half way down and i cant turn the offset sleeve to push the roll pin further down to free the shaft that comes from the cover. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. thanks . John

I'm sure you tried the obvious fishing tools?

Can you make it fall out by flipping it over?

Hello. Got it out.Apparently there was a piece of roll pin still in there. A little wrestling and it came out. Thanks a bunch. Great forum!
