Or sometimes called 'Slingshot' dragsters....My question is, how would a regular person, that would be me, go about trying to build one of these?? Is there anyplace that would sell blueprints? Thanks for any help.

There are new ones built all the time for nostalgia racers. Don't know for sure who mkes kits, but I'm sure someone does.

Maybe there are nostalgia websites out there?

In the Midwest and West coast area, there is a circuit they run. The fuelers are running in the mid 5s.

Maybe do a search on nostalgia drag racing.

S&W Racecars has them. Not sure if it is just sold as a welded chassis or if they sell plans too. You can find them on the web.

Tuttle sells kits too, he has a website, California Chassis is the name of his company.
I think Mark Williams sells most everything for one also.

Lotsa used ones out there, just watch that the thing is certifiable...you may have to re-do the whole schmeer if not.
