I remember reading about them, but can't remember what the differenc is between them. Is there any difference?here is a pic on this auction for the Square N case. It doesn't appear to have nodular caps. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1870218497 and a link to kevin stangs 9" page which most all have rounded N's.... http://www.kevinstang.com/Ninecase.htm [This message has been edited by Just Strokin (edited 10-20-2002).]

I`ve had several of each style. Normally the rounded "N" has nodular caps as well, & was used in the late 60`s-early 70`s "Musclecars", like the 428&429 CJ cars & Boss cars. The "typewriter" "N"`s I`ve had were all lacking the "N" caps, & came in later PU`s & vans.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd

What is the story behind this strange looking Strange 9" carrier that shows up on eBay from time to time. Also, what about the FRPP nodular street carried M-4141-L? Is it nothing more than the old non-ribbed carrier? ------------------ Larry No fast Fords at this time but one fine cruising 96 F350 CC DRW Power Strokin diesel. And one rusty 64 Fairlane nick-named the Rust Bucket....And sometimes called the Money Pit...
