I see these carbs turn up used every now and then.... Are they any good? What advantages do they offer over a normal Holley? The only thing I have found on the web touts part throttle performance.....

MP, I don't know about Aerosol but.... if this is C&S specialties your a refering to they are top notch in my book. Although I think they do primarily round track stuff, i bought a second hand Holley 950 from a friend of mine and they STILL ( 3 yrs ) had the paper work on the carb, after I GAVE THEM THE SERIAL NUMBER. It was an Alky carb. It ran great. I wish I still had it. Best running carb I ever ran, bolt it on and go. I tried changing jets to get more out of it but wound up with what they said would work in the first place. Friendly folks to talk to also. Give them a call, calls are cheap.

I think they are primarily designed for the circle track cars. The part throttle response is designed to help them to get off the corner better. The transition period between part throttle while in the corner, and wide open coming off the corner is pretty crucial to them. If it wont come off the corner clean, you are in big trouble. However, I bet if it works good for that, it would work real good on the street.
