I use AFR185, Vic Jr Intake, 850dp, and a Comp Cams tight lash solid lifter cam 246/252 @ .050 553/544 lift 108 LS. This is on a 10.42:1 393 shortblock. This is in a 67 Mustang with a wide ratio toploader and 4.56 gears,Cal-tracs, and 28 by 12.5 ET Streets.Best 1/8 mile time so far is a 7.07. I'm still trying to sort this combination out. I know there's a 6.80 in it just trying to find it. I tried running with out a filter and I lost 5 mph. My carb sticks out through the hood under my Boss 429 scoop I think the air flowing over the choke tower was distrupting the airflow. I've been using a 14 by 3 paper filter and I know it's killing the top end airflow. I'm gonna go get a K&N filter and see if that helps any . ------------------ James 67 Coupe 393W, 4 Speed, 7.07 @ 98MPH 1/8 1.52 60' '66 Fairlane 500XL Daily Driver

got cast sr heads on my 408,cnc, lunati hy roller 218 228 536 536 112,750HP DP, torque monster at low end 380ft lbs @3100rpms,thinking of AFR"S 185 heads, erson hy roller 226 234,544 544, 110,or comps cams XE282HR, like the ford crate motor 392,maybe vic jr manifold,or keep the stealth for low and mid range, car is street driven only, got to make big numbers down low, not worried about top end so much, not where i live.
