But it sure felt good spanking that 2002 Camaro SS this evening. I've only got 500 miles on the motor so I'm still taking it easy. I also have passenger tires on it so I have to go easy in first and most of second gear to keep from repaving the road. But when that punk kid followed me out of town with an obvious desire to test his mettle, I had to uncork it long enough to show him what he was messing with. Despite having to feather the peddle to keep the back end connected to the ground, I had a car length on him before I hit second. From there it was all over. He caught the next u-turn back to town.

Next addition: some decently sized rims with as much sticky rubber as I can fit into the wheel wells. The next run may not be quite so easy...

Scott,

Take it to the track.

2002 Camaros are "easy" victims, but don't let them get you into trouble on the street. They aren't worth it!

I'll get to the track soon enough. It was just one of those things I felt I had to do on behalf of Henry Ford and all his fans.
