Okay,,, Listen closely... If you are going paint your car with any type of paint that changes colors, such as the Ghost Flames on my 66 Fastback (PPG Harlequin Blue-Red),,, you need to make a couple of changes in the way you paint...These paints,,, PPG Harlequin anyway are "Directional"... You must paint all the pieces of your car "attached" to the car so the paint will lay down the same direction...
So,,, pieces such as headlight trim, grill, valances, anything that must match up CAN NOT be painted seperately... (which is generally the proper way to paint those pieces)...
We painted mine seperately and once you try to put them on the car... The colors reflect differently and don't match,,, and we can't have colors not matching...
Needless to say,,, we are repainting the front end of my '66...

NOTE: You can paint the Base Coate on all the pieces Seperately,,, then attach them before you spray the Harlequin...
