Help! The t-brake in Melissa's '66 is creaping when it's on the chip. Tonight she had good lights until the first round of eliminations, then the car creaped forward a couple inches when it was up on the two step. A freind at the line watched and thought to himself "red light". Sure enough a .453 red! I think we found the problem, now what's the solution? What causes this? There are maybe 100 passes on the tranny / brake combo. I'll check it electrically first, but do t-brakes need to be cleaned or do I need to check line pressures, or? SteveW p.s. The car went a new best of 10.829 1/4mi. and 6.834 1/8mi, w/a 1.504 60'er tonight, so it wasn't all bad. [This message has been edited by steve'66 (edited 09-04-2002).]
