For anyone who isn't familiar with my motor, 333ci Windsor w/ Trick Flow heads (2.02/1.60), Comp 270S, RPM Airgap, Hooker SuperComps, four speed trans, 3:70 gears on 26" tall tires. I'm running a 3310-1; 68's and 73's, 6.5 pv's, 32 squirter. The off idle response is very crisp , but while cruising, if I get on it some it's got just a bit of hesitation before mashing you back in the seat. The porcelin of all 8 plugs is damn near white , but the base ring and top two threads are sooty black. Reading the ground strap, I could be one heat range too hot. This read isn't a full power pull, I'm wanting to tune the carb's idle & primary circuits first. What direction would you guys go with it?Note: did have a flooding problem... tore it down & blew it out, put an old 10.5 pv in the primary block... seemed to help the stumble a bit, didn't change the plug read .

I've got a 105 in my 3310-1 on my 351C. It stumbled with the 85. And I have 15 inches of vacuum at idle. Yeah, the 105 works great. I haven't really played with the 65 in the seconday block yet because I don't feel any problems.Tracy

The carb at my local speed shop is suggesting 8.5 pv's to start with, maybe going to 9.5's depending on how the motor reacts. Sound right?
