My holley mechanical fuel pump has died. Rated at 60gph, I know it was undersized anyway. I currently have the stock 5/16" fuel lines. I'm also quite broke after having just paid tuition and paid for books. How much hp can 5/16" line support given the proper fuel pump? What about 3/8" line? I'd like to just stick a holley blue on my car at this point and be done with it, but if the line won't support the flow, it'll be a waste of time anyway. What should I do?

Neal,We ran 12 flats @ 112 mph with a Holley red in the back pushing gas through a 5/16 line to a stock mechanical pump in the front. In fact we're using the same pumps now w/ 3/8" line between them running high 10's in a '66. SteveW
