when i sat it down on main caps i noticed it did not sit perfectly flat on all caps.i called canton to address issue,they could not come up with a solution,so i torqued it down with bolts in kit.crank seems a little tight.is it possible the line bore changed?also noticed oilpressure on high side.idles hot @45psi

It will absolutly change the housing bore dimensions, the block should be machined with it installed....it will do more harm than good if it wasn't.

Wass the girdle sitting on the main caps? If so get some hardened washeres and space the girdle up so it is not touching.You could take and grind a little off the caps if you can not do it any other way.

it was not hitting caps,but i thought when you sit it down all 10 contact points should sit flush with no gaps at all.just found bad news last nite,must of broken ring or lan becuase i noticed excessive blowby ,found #7 leaking down at 50%.time to get wrenching!!
