motor has about 3000 miles.i used castrol straight weight (dont know if it was non detergent)non synthetic for first 200 miles.then in went synthetic (maybe jumped the gun)to my suprise it leaked at 10% can you get non detergent in cal. ? heaven forbid i have to tear back in it.please advise on any options

5-7% is typical... 200 miles isn't all that many hours, so I wouldn't panic just yet. Yes, any parts house should carry ND oil. I just bought a case of Valvoline 30W ND for my stroker break-in. I intend two break-ins, as recommended by Comp:Removed inner valvespring from all 16 (lowers the seat pressure), 3000 RPM for 30 minutes. Change oil & replace filter. Install inner valvespring, repeat break-in procedure. Drain & fill with normal oil, then drive the wheels off of it Alex has some voodoo ring seating methods, maybe hit him up next week after he's done racing this weekend.
