Lifter swap Complete, engine/ cam run in successful. Engine will now turn more than 6500. It is still a little rough thoe. Carb jetting question. 390 engine, spark plugs are NKG R BKR6E gaped at .045" Holley 750 Dp, 2.5 power valve, Jets 71 primary 80 secondary, 8" vacuum @ idle, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Edelbrock RPM Heads, Crane cam 572 Lift 236@50 duration 108 lobe centers, Hooker Super Comp Headers , 2 1/2" 2 chamber Flowmasers, 4 speed Trans. Does the carb need more Jetting?No I have not Checked the plugs after a hard run. Did look at them after a country Pass and return to home. The #1 Plug Ground Electrode was Light tan 1/2 way to the weld. [This message has been edited by Glens67 (edited 08-12-2002).]
