I've got a 289 that is 40 over. All the stroker kits seem to be for .030" motors. I wanted to use a 347 kit (I think it would be about 350 something).Do they make a .040" kit or should I start looking for a new block? Can I reuse my current pistons?

I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem to get the kit you're looking at with 4.040" pistons. You'll probably have to just call the manufacturer and order direct that way. Worst case scenario would be you'd have to buy the pistons, rods, and crank separately. It won't be a problem to get your stroker kit. No, you do not need to look for another block.
