On the right bank, just behind the head on my '71 Mexican block, there's a 1/4" pipe female. Is that an oil galley tap? If so, being at the rear of the motor, would that be a good place to plumb my mechanical oil pressure fitting? [This message has been edited by V8 Thumper (edited 08-08-2002).]

Use the drivers side 1/4 inch pipe hole above the oil filter. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl

Yup, that's where the stock elect. sender was ... was planning to keep the 5 gauge cluster functional (going to run SW mechanical oil & water gauges also), I suppose I could tee off for the mechanical gauge...Then what's the one on the right rear, as described above?
