New Combo

I just got my stroker crank and will be installing the new camshaft as well. I still need to order the pistons… Best ET on engine was 11.16 with a 1.47 60’.
Best ET with old combo, J302 heads, 10.39 with 125 NOS, 1.43 60’.

1968 Mustang

351W SVO Sportsman 2 bolt block with main girdle & screw-in core plugs, wire loc in block using copper head gaskets 4.060” X .042”
Torque plate honed
4.000” X 3.850” using an Eagle Crank 388 cid
Compression ratio 13.4:1
5.956” Eagle Rods
Pistons To be determined, most likely JE’s w/ 5 cc dome
Gear Drive
Canton pan & pick up

Edelbrock Victor Jr. cylinder heads 2.050” intake & 1.60” exhaust
The heads should flow around 300 intake & 210 – 212 exhaust
Crane Gold Rockers 1.6:1 w/ stud girdle
Victor Jr. intake… and should I change to a Super Victor intake instead?

CamShaft specs
http://www.compcams.com/information/Search/CamDetails.asp?PartNumber=35-781-9

MSD billet distributor w/ 8mm wires

9” rear. 4.11:1 now, but I have 4.56, 4.71 & 4.88 to choose from
Slapper bars

Tranny C4 with roller bearings, 5500 Yank converter, PA trans brake w/Cheetah SCS shifter

Tires… Whatever MM sells me, most likely 11 X 28 or 10.5 X 28

The car, with me in it, weighs 3050 lbs.

You're gonna need to make some licensing passes.

Buster,

You might want to make a seperate post on the intake ? Nobody seems to want to play with us. LOL

My opinion is (for what it's worth) that unless you've ported the VicJr heads a bunch, that the matching VicJr intake should work the best. But you have plenty of motor to suck the max outta the SuperVic intake.
But to be honest, I've never even seen that intake let alone be able to make a good recomendation.
