Are you abandoning the Webers?
I always thought you had a great combo that could use some tuning.......

im seriously thinking about it as i need 48mm webers(and retain superb idle and down low drivability) and to buy those would cost me around $3000 ,but on the reverse side if i go 4 barel my idle and down low drivability will go out the window and my top end will be better, so im thinking about having both and trying each setup....oh my head and my pockets ache!

You have 44mm IDF webers right? I think they make 48mm IDF carbs also. The IDA series are great but unavailable new.....
Terry Parker is a very nice guy BTW.
I have his funnelweb for the 4V clevelands, but have not installed it yet. Nice looking peice though.
Either intake should work pretty well with a 750 annular discharge carb. The annular boosters will aid low end drivability with single plane intakes.
