When torqued with ARP's moly assembly lube, the recommended torque values are a bunch lower than Ford specs. For my aluminum headed 333, should I torque the heads to 70 & 80 ft/lbs (short & long bolts) or ??? How about the mains (2-bolt Mexican block)???

Todd, use some sort of sealer on the head bolts. I like gray anti seize personally, but Kopper Koat, silicone, or Permatex etc. will work. Use only oil on the main bolts. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl
