Well I have the "new" heads reworked, new springs, retainers and keepers.Valves and seats trued up. When I get the report from Metcalf.s shop I will post the Corrections. Now the install questions. What kind of oil restrictor should I use? I will be using my Erson rocker setup are there any concerns about spacing on the Rockers? Thanks Glen ------------------ Glen 67 GT 390 65 Galaxie 500 XL 4 Speed It was not a Red Light they gave me a Slow Tree

How ya coming? By the time you get an answer you'll have the job done. At least I hope so, I'd hate to see you racing the truck on the 4th. SteveW

Had to make new bushings for the Erson Rockers ( Edl spaced the Intake valve .060 further apart than stock) Motor is installed, all bottom drive line is complete, just need to install rockers prime the oil system, adjust the rockers install the carb and radiator and run the beast. Should have it complete by Tuesday. I'm taking Wed off to put some miles and tune it for Wed Night. shure hope I don't have to run the Truck.

Same place you were last time? How early do you get there to find a spot? We'll have the M/H plus my truck and trailer so we'll probably be up the return road. Barbara's got lots of food so be sure to bring your hog (mini bike) C'ya Wednesday night. SteveW
