Butch, it may be a good omen that was your 460 th post to this forum. Once you drive it out of the water box, the smell will be as sweet as roses.

Yes we'll run it on alky this week, it actually idles a lot better and the throttle response is much better (in the driveway anyhow). I used to have a hard time with it heating up when I ran it too long here (200+), but it never got much over 160 without the fan on yesterday. I'll change the gears out tomorrow after I get home from my doctor's appointment. ------------------
