Hey guys,I have questions about E6 heads. Nothing pressing as I already have E7's on my motor, but I see them on e-bay every so often. Are these heads any good? They are supposed to be high swirl heads right? Smaller cc's. But I thought they needed some special pistons or something like that. So clue me in guys. Thanks, B-loose

They are a one year only program designed for the introduction of the 200 HP HO SEFI 302. They never lived up to expectations. FoMoCo found out that they could make more power more cheaply using the truck heads, a larger upper and lower, and larget throttle body. Hence the infamous 225 HP 5.0 HO was born in 1987, and the rest is history. Ironicly, we are the only ones in NHRA/IHRA competition running the E6 combination successfully. Just goes to show you that the experts weren't all that wrong after all. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator/ non 65-66 Mustang owner sensitivity co-ordinator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl
