It's a Lakewood blanket, and I'm putting it on a c-4 w/ deep pan and an sfi bellhousing. What are the three straps at the front of it with brass eyes in them supposed to be connected to? I've got it straped on with the other three straps around the middle of it, but the three straps on the front going forward are a mystery. Or if I've got it backwards, the three straps to the rear. You fold it into a triangle and put the trans in it, you then bring the 3 corners together and pin them

That's funny! But the diaper goes under the engine dummy. SteveW

I'm not sure how tight the trans tunnel on your 66 is, but I really like the CSI shield I have on my C4. And it even fit in that nightmare of racecar granada I used to have.

They go to Bell housing bolts. You may want to have it dry cleaned every once in a while or it will get so heavy ya can't lift it. Mark J

Mark, OK you answered my original question that no one else could! Thanks for the answer. But today we figured out that the new headers would burn the blanket up the first time out at the track. So that idea is out. Anyone wanting a blanket, I have one real cheap. LOL SteveW

Rob, The blanket was a witch to fit between the tranny and the floor. I need a really skinny form fitting shield. SteveW

I'm not sure then if the CSI will fit. I know I didnt have much room in the granada above the trans and it fit that one, but I bet there was more room there then you have in the 66.
