Thought I would pass this along in case anyone else ever encounters this problem. I had a high rpm miss that occured around 6200 rpm whenever I had a chip installed in my MSD6AL. I emailed MSD and they came back with a list of things to check, they felt I was getting RF interference causing the limiter to kick in early. They were right. One of the things he had me check was that I had the power and ground wires seperated from the distibutor wires. Also wanted me to check the resitance on the plug wires. I had the power and ground wires running underneath the box coming out right next to the dist. wiring. They were also close again after they came through the firewall(box inside). Re-routed my wiring and also replaced my spark plug wires with some MSD wires and problem solved. Anyway feel a little safer having that feature availible especially since it's a stick car. Hope this helps someone else at some point.
