Getting ready to put a Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap
on my car wondering how much improvement i will see, and how it will effect my performance over the Old single plane low rise Street Dominator that is on it now?

I would think you would make more power and torque everywhere compared to the street dominator.

What about stall speed or sticky tires? If you have a 2500+ stall converter, I would forego the RPM and jump to the Victor JR... If you don't have a good stall, then I would put my money in a good converter. The intake alone probably won't make a lot of difference. If you want to see a big difference in your 1/8 mi e.t., you need a major change like better flowing heads, launch rpm or better traction.

The Edelbrock Air Gap intake for the 351W is a NICE unit. It's made taller and larger inside to make it a decent candidate for stroker engines. It's pretty too. However, that engine is SCREAMING for a better set of heads... Either that, or a much smaller camshaft. (around 15 degrees smaller @ 0.050"... something like a Comp XE274H 230/236 @ 0.050" 0.519"/0.524" lift 110 lsa) Maybe even the next smaller one, the XE268H, which measures 224/230. (Or a solid lifter equivalent) Mine is a custom solid, (236/248 @ 0.050" 0.560" gross lift) It's the Comp 282S Magnum intake lobe, and 294S exhaust ground on a 110 lsa.

Here's a pic of the intake.

Here's the page that gives the info on it...

Good Luck!
