I was just looking through the pictures on the mustangsandmore site and seen your dragcar .I just wanted to say what a wicked looking piece of horseflesh you have there.I had to pick my jaw up off of the floor.VERY NICE;D I'm sure you've heard that lots but one more time probably wont hurt. Its also nice to associate a name to a car.P.S your street cars not too shabby either.

Thanks

Like most people, I like hearing that.

It's too bad my street car hasn't actually been on the street since 97. No motor in it since then. I thought it had only been a couple of years, but when I was over there today working on it so I can get it out of the garage I no longer I own, I seen the tags on the plate were from 97. I didnt realize I had let it sit for so long.

Once again,

Thanks

I have to take my hat off to ya to be able to finance and give the time necessary to keep two fine cars!

I have my '69FB racer but I'm thinking I should sell off my street car ('85 5.0 GT Conv. w/67K miles) 'cause it isn't getting the attention it deserves - Sheezzz, last year I only put 1000 miles on the Conv.!

But the street car doesnt cost anything when it just sits for 5 years in the garage.

Lack of finances is the main reason why it has sat for so long. One or the other, and os far the racecar has won the battle of priorities.

Hey kid, I know this doesn't really pertain to this thread but I posted a question about launching with the 2 step a while ago and you suggested with an automatic to hook it up to the foot brake rather than use a button. I switched it from the button to the brake recently and it works great. Before I was launching with the button and trying to release the brake at the same time, not good for consistancy. Anyways just wanted to thank you for the great tip.

I was just relaying what I knew a local stock class racer was doing. He had his 2 step hooked up to the brake light switch.

I'm glad it worked for you.

Rob,

At the risk of embarassing you, I'll also say that you're "da man" or at least one of "da men"! Glad to have your help and insight. Keep up the good "work" and thanks for your suggestions and help,

SteveW

p.s. No I don't want to take a long warm shower with you!
