What is NHRA accepting as a legal crank. I see that SCAT is selling cast replacement cranks for small block Fords. are these legal (they claim FRPP uses them in the 351 crate motors). The engines I am interested in are the COBRA 5.0 and the Lightning 3.8

NHRA and IHRA are accepting ANYTHING that resembles a stock appearing crankshaft. Steel, cast iron etc. No knife edging or abnormal lightening ( ) just a normal balance job ( ) and a maximum allowable over stroke of .015.
