Whilst I have your attention, what do you suggest for some carby tuning. Here is the A/F curve: Paul

Ron, conversions tend to differ with oponion. From what I know 28% loss is common. So the flywheel HP would be around 540.Cam is 250?/257? 0.622"/0.648" @108 installed at 103? Compression is 11.9:1 Paul

From what I've heard, a rule of thumb is 15% for manuals and 23% for slushboxes.

Like I said, conversions tend to differ with opinion. I guess the size of rear end gears, driveshaft mass etc. etc. all has an effect. It's probably best to just compare apples with apples. Paul

Didn't you have the ports welded up? If so, are these the heads you are using? And finally, If these are the welded up heads, what did you have to do to the intake? Looks good to me. Thanks.

Yes they are the heads I had welded. The manifold port size was very close to the head port size although I did have to do a little port matching to the intake. If I had known I was going to get this intake before the heads were finished I would have matched the heads to the intake. Paul

Does TFC has a website that shows the intakes and stuffers? What is the price in Aussie $ for those intakes and stuffers?

I just posted a picture of the Parker stuffers on the "port stuffers" thread. They cost $100, and make the intake port look like the above picture. The website has a picture of the stuffer inserted in the port.Good Luck! ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?220

Sorry, I don't know if they have a website, or what the stuffers cost. You could try http://www.angelfire.com/biz/kbengineparts/Paul
