I was thinking of stroking my 289 to a 331 but it will be a daily driver. I was wondering how reliable they were? What kind of horsepower increase would I see?

They are reliable if you use "good" parts. How hard do you run the 289 now? 40 more cubes should be worth 40 more h.p or more if you let it breath.
