I've got to start by thanking my good buddy Dave(stang106).Dave found me a 84 T-bird for free. The car is good condition .We dropped in a battery and drove it home. The drivetrain is 3.8L auto .I'm going to try and sell the 3.8 and trans to buy a 8.8 rearend and drop in my 289 and C4.
This great for me becuase it wasn't going to be able to have my 65 comet ready.

That's an excellent car for a race car. Especially considering the price!

The price was right- a gift! We even drove it to Roger's place on the owner's insurance, the car has no rust except for a spot on the lower back window, the underbody completly rust-free, and a modern (1984) suspension will make an excellent safe start to a race car, that our wifes may even try!
