As I begin to rebuild my 351C this is a feature that has been brought to my attention. Are they worth doing in terms of cost to horsepower? Has anyone on M&M used them?

The roller cam bearings require a camshaft with journals the same diameter front to rear like the 429/460 cams. This means a special cam from the cam companies. The block has to be 'bored' for the roller cam bearings to be installed. Even on a 429/460 this is $150-250 in machining costs.Speed cost money, how fast do you want to go?

Alex mentioned they were worth 2 hp at 9000, so they don't seem worth the trouble.------------------
