Was having a discusion with a couple guys need some opinions on my hair brained idea, if you have a block with a deck clearance of say 0.035" and a crank that need to be turned undersize say 0.020". My idea is ofset turn the crank { a mini stroker so to speek} so all of 0.020" is cut from the one side effectively lenghting the stroke an taking up deck clearance at same time.

We do that as SOP on all of our racing engines. We are allowed a .015 limit and we take advantage of it.
