I just got an MSD programmable timing the other day at a swap meet. Part #8981. This is the one that you can adjust initial timing, RPM, slope, and it has a high speed retard chip. Wondering if anyone is using one of these and what do you think of it?

Yeah, I thought so. You lock out your distributor, and use the computer to set your initial timing, when it begins to change, and how fast it changes. It has 20deg start retard too. Guess nobody uses one.
