can a ford motorsport svo intake part# M-9424-E351 made for 9.2 deck height and raised port robert yates cylinder heads be modified to fit a 351c w/4v heads, the guy i talked with today said that it would fit with some milling done to the sides and bottom, does anyone know what exactly would need to be done besides getting the ports matched up and the floors filled in on the head ports? should i be more interested in getting the bolt holes lined up rather than the ports matched? and would the effort be worth the trouble? has anyone ever heard or seen this done before, i figured i better check in here first, i don't need another costly mistake i would definitely appreciate any info or feedback on this subject

thanks
kelly

I am running a mototsport M9424-A351 on my boss 351, it was a lot of work closing up and raising the intake ports and it was done quite a few years ago, if you drive the car on the street a lot its probably not the way to go unless you run a lot of gear so your answer is yes it can be done.

Wait another month for the reissue of the Holley/Weiand Strip Dominator.

I really don't get Holley. Why wait so long to re-introduce something you already have the tooling for. The cost of re-introduction has to be very low....
Are they really going to re-introduce them in a month?

From what I've seen from Holley, I wouldn't hold my breath on that 1 month introduction. Wasn't it originally supposed to be reintroduced like a year ago? I know it's gotten pushed back a few times. I do know eventually I'll be running one with a bigger carb, but the torker and 770 street avenger will hold me over for a while. I'm still excited about the s.d.'s reintroduction!
