I've got two 3310 Holley carbs...can I take the primary metering block from one and put it on the secondary side of the other? If so would I keep the power valve in and square jet it? Or plug the power valve? Thanks for any responses.------------------ svt522 1996 SVT Cobra (#522) 1967 F100 w/351C, C-6, 4.11 Detroit Locker 1973 "Q" Code Mach1, 3/4 Vinyl Top, Fold-Down Rear Seat, A/C

I did this on a 800 DP. Some say leave the pwer valve, some say block it off. I think you need to block off the power valve and i would SQ jet it to begin with or maybe a 3-4 numbers larger (depending on what jets you have handy) till you have time to tune it some. If the rear jets get too big, you can always add the power valve, if the circuits are drilled in the main body for it to function. Also, you know that you have to drill a couple holes at an angle in the base for this to work, along with adjusting the rear throttle plates so they aren't shut tight? You must also block the idle transfer groove on the top side of the trottle base, between the front and the back.
