The baseplate on my holley 3310 was getting kind of sloppy and was leaking vacuum out of the primary throttle shaft bores making setting the idle mixture difficult. I priced a rebush at the local carb shop and they wanted over a hundred bucks to rebush the baseplate which I thought was a bit pricey . I looked around for a new baseplate with linkage from several sources. Summit carries them for $135 and I was about to order from them when someone on this board told me about Parker Carburetion and their website www.holleypartsforsale.com . I talked to Earl Parker and he was extremely helpful . He had the part I needed special ordered from Holley and out to me within 4 days of placing the order for about $50 less than summit wanted. Not only that but all their prices are a fraction of what everyone else charges for the exact same Holley brand parts. He even has stuff no one else carries like HP metering blocks and the like . If your'e looking for a good deal on holley carburetor parts and excellent and timely technical info then Earl is the guy to go to. We were having real time discussions via email . He even talked me out of ordering a few things from him as he didnt think it would help the way my setup was running. Class act!
