on the set of engine mounts I bought for
the cleveland, one has a (R) stamped on it
does this mean it is placed on the passanger
side of the block, they look identical.

yes and i think you will find an l on theother one. there is probably a small diff. in the bolt locations. at least there is on a 302. good luck
